The upgrades feel like they are just means to deliver and maintain interest on the sport for years and years, and that's doing well considering how the match keep selling months and Animal Crossing Bells months after it originally released.

If word of mouth against it was so powerful, would it keep selling like it will after all of those months? I don't understand, feel very strange to me.

I purchase fewer than I did, and tend to wait till after launch today, to see what happens wrt updates. I don't enjoy my games being divided between digital and physical, and upgrades guarantee a portion of the game remains digital.

As fun as the past two generations of gambling have been, the sensible side has gotten worse and eventually there will not be anything bodily to buy except the computer system.

When that happens then yeah I will probably quit buying new games since digital games could be revoked at any moment. (Read the Terms)

I only miss the days when the concept of releasing and publishing something had weight to it. There was a component of"you CANNOT fuck up this", and having the ability to release an unfinished game and then patch it to death just empowers shitty publishing along with a jacked up merchandise imo.
